Full Course - Introduction to the Wheel

Service Description

Price: $510.00+tax for a total of 8 classes - each 2.5 hours long. This is an *8 session course* targeted to those who are new to the pottery wheel. Each session will be one on one with the instructor, where she will carefully show you everything you need to know. For someone who doesn't have experience working with the pottery wheel it is important to take multiple classes, as one session is not enough time to learn all of the techniques to create a professional piece. Those who complete this course are then welcome to book time with the wheel to create whatever they wish! Please note that we only have two wheels at this time, and so space is limited. For this reason the deposit for this course is non-refundable, and cancelations must be done 48 hours before the scheduled session, or you will be charged a fee. There are a variety of days and times to book sessions, however, if you are having difficulty finding times that match your schedule, please do not hesitate to reach out! I am sure we can work something out that suits you!

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us 48 hours in advance, as our space is limited. For all clay workshops: You will come and make whatever you wish and then you may choose to take your piece home or to leave it with us and we will recycle the clay to use again! Note that for a single piece, we will not fire it for you, however there are a number of community kilns in HRM, each of which you are able to rent and fire your pieces.
