The Studio
Welcome to Secrets of Clay, where you will learn the age-old art of ceramics. Here, you will be guided by Arezoo’s expertise and experience as she teaches you the basics of pottery and hand-building. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, Arezoo will help you develop your skills and learn new techniques.

Our space is small and cozy, and the classes are intimate and tailored to the individual, so you can be sure to get the most out of your time in the studio.

Available Workshops
My workshops are here for every one of you to learn from and enjoy. Workshops are just meant to be single sessions to have fun and play with clay - One or two session are not enough time to become a professional, it is just meant for enjoyment!
For all workshops, you will come and make whatever you wish and then you may choose to take your piece home, or to leave it with us, and we will recycle the clay to use again! Note that if you come for a single class we will not be able fire your pieces, however there are a number of community kilns in HRM, each of which you are able to rent and fire your pieces.
Courses
Our professional pottery courses are the perfect way to learn how to craft beautiful pieces of pottery. Over the course of 8 classes, you'll learn the essential techniques of either wheel-throwing, tile-making, or hand-building. With our expert guidance, you'll quickly become an experienced pottery maker.
