Date

2013

Location

Canada

In Sep 2013, I landed as an immigrant in Halifax NS, Canada. At the time I couldn't speak English, I didn't know the culture (however, I found out a shot while later that Canada is a very multicultural place). Now what? How to find my art community? How to get in touch with like minded people, who could understand me? Where to get my art supplies from? And so on.. The only thing I knew was "TIME" and "Patience" are the answer to all my questions.
I started working on a table in my kitchen and after a year I had my first exhibition at Swoon Fine Art Gallery, Bedford, NS, in 2014. I don't know really how it all went at the gallery because I did not show up for my own show!!! The reason; Just because I could not speak English and I felt shy ( In retrospect now I know that it was not a good reason, I should have had more self confidence). But I could sell two of my art works.
- In 2015 I moved to Toronto and joined George Brown College in  "English, Art and Science" program to improve my English and communication.
- In 2016, I got into Laurentian University ( McEWEN school of Architecture)in Sudbury, Ont.
- In 2017, I came back to Halifax because of my family and joined NSCAD University, College of Art And Design.
